It is a lot of work to get a website to the point where you feel it is ready for visitors. Of course a web site is never complete and it requires new content on a regular basis. For now however it will have to do.
The web site is for my company Market Accelerators and you can find the site at www.marketaccelerators.com.
The objective of the company is to help companies grow. We do this by examining a client's business from a marketing perspective. What are the barriers to growth and what will it take to remove them so that the company can be more successful. I have a couple of clients already and it is a lot of fun working with them.
Anyway, check out the site and let me know what you think.

Is your company growing as it should?
Market Accelerators is a company dedicated to helping local businesses grow. We are based in Vancouver, WA and serve the Pacific Northwest.
Although we have many years of marketing experience, we are in the process of setting up our new company. This blog will both document the process of setting up a new company in Washington State and our experiences in the marketing field.
Marketing Consultant? -- nope!
While you could use the term marketing consultant to describe our business, we don't really like that term. We regard ourselves more as a "bolt-on" marketing deprtment for companies that chose not to have their own.
What we do
We start-off by working with our clients to develop a marketing plan which includes interviews with customers, competitors, secondary research etc. to make sure we truly understand how the market perceives our client's products and services. (its not always the same one the client has!). That enables us to identify the marketing problems that need to be fixed. For example, is it a poor product or service? Is it a lack of awareness, is it lack of customer understanding, or perhaps it is difficult to buy from that company -- basically we want to identify the barriers to growth.
Then we develop a 12 month marketing plan that prioritizes the marketing activities and programs (and budget) that needs to be implemented. Once the owner agrees, we can also handle the implementation of the various marketing programs and activities including website development, optimization, direct mail, marketing materials, etc.
This is all the stuff that usually an in-house marketing department would do – we just do it as a marketing department for hire!
Will post more information as we move forward with the launch of the company
